SAWYER BEST
Sawyer is the owner, and head trainer of Dream Hound. She is a seasoned animal professional with over 10 years of experience, and has dedicated her career to the health and training of dogs. With a deep understanding of canine behavior, she has helped countless dogs and their owners overcome a variety of challenges and reach their full potential.
Starting as a veterinary assistant, she quickly developed a passion for working with dogs and honed her skills in dog training. Over the years, Sawyer has worked with a diverse range of breeds and temperaments, gaining valuable experience in dealing with everything from behavioral issues to standard obedience. Her learning never stops despite her experience, and she often is taking classes, or attending seminars about training so she can improve and hone her skills even further.
When not working, she lives a busy home life with her wife, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. She loves to go trail walking with the dogs along with crafting and making educational content.
Bindi and the Boys
It is necessary to mention my three honorary staff members here as well. Bindi, the dalmatian who is the best distraction in the world, and is heavily involved in the training process. Fitzroy, the Standard Poodle, who is a great distraction at times, but is often just judging everyone from his place. Sirius, the mutt, he is not a good distraction as he likes his peace, but he is why I am training dogs today, and for that he deserves to be mentioned.
